To change program preferences, 

▪        Choose Preferences from the main window Edit menu. 

▪        Make your changes in the preferences window, then click OK. 

Changing specific preferences is mentioned in many places in the help system wherever a related topic is being discussed. All the options in the preferences window (as well as many others) are saved in your settings file4L9JLL4.
