You can set a limit to plant names for each 3D export type, from one character to sixty. To set the limit on plant names, change the number labeled Limit plant names to X characters in the Other options panel of the 3D export options window.

Special considerations for limiting plant names:

▪        If your 3D program reads your exported files without problems, feel free to set this number as high as you like. But if your 3D program balks at the files, try reducing this number. 

▪        POV names have no limit, because it’s not necessary.
