Special considerations for viewing and bitmap options

If you are using plant bitmapsIT406I, you must click on the plant itself to select it on a leaf, stem or other plant part. If you are not using plant bitmaps, click anywhere inside a plants selection rectangle to select it.

If the View What Plants > One Plant at a Time option is on in the Options menu, all other plants will disappear when you select a new focused plant8IN1RV>second

If the Draw Rectangles > Around Selected Plants option is turned off in the Options menu, you won't be able to see any selection rectangles around plants, but you can still click on plants as if the selection rectangles were there. Usually you will only want to turn off selection rectangles when you are working with a bouquet and you want to see what the finished picture will look like.

If you click on a plant in the drawing area that is behind another plant in the drawing orderWhat_is_the_drawing_order, you will get the plant in front first. If you are using plant bitmaps, this isnt much of a problem just click on a leaf or stem of the plant you want. If you are not using plant bitmaps, it is easiest to work with plants that dont overlap. In any case, to bring a plant forward in the drawing order, choose Bring forward from the Layout menu or type Shift-up arrow.
