About the focused plant
In the main window or the plant mover, the focused plant is the first plant you clicked on in the list of plants or in the main window drawing area. If only one plant is selected, that is the focused plant. When you add more selected plants (using Control-click or Shift-click or by rubber-banding in the drawing area), the focused plant does not change. You can change the focused plant by deselecting the selected plants, then clicking on the plant you want to focus on.
In general,
▪ If the View What Plants > One Plant at a Time option is on, the focused plant is the only visible plant.
▪ When you choose Rename from the Plant menu, you rename the focused plant.
▪ When you choose the Posing selection cursor mode you can only select plant parts on the focused plant.
▪ When you create numbered animation files, the focused plant is used.
▪ When you choose Breed from the Plant menu, the focused plant is the first breeding parent. If there are multiple plants selected, the second breeding parent is the first non-focused selected plant in the plant list.
In the focus panel on the main window,
▪ Arrangement: The location, size and rotations shown are for the focused plant. When you change one of these values, all selected plants change by the same amount.
▪ Age: The age shown is for the focused plant. When you change this, all selected plants get the new age.
▪ Parameters: The parameter values shown are for the focused plant. When you change a parameter value, all selected plants get the new value.
▪ Posing: The list of posed parts is for the focused plant.
▪ Stats: The information is about the focused plant.
▪ Note: The note is for the focused plant.
