PlantStudio draws complicated structures such as leaves, flowers and fruit using structures called 3D objects1T3LP40 scaled to show growth. Several plant parameters determine which 3D objects are used to draw parts of the plant.

To edit a 3D object,

       Select one or more plants.

In a 3D object parameter panelUsing_3D_object_parameter_panels>second, click on the picture or name of the 3D object.

The 3D object chooser window will appear. To edit an existing 3D object, select it and click Edit. To create a new 3D object, click New. To edit a copy of an existing 3D object, click Copy, type in a name for the new 3D object, then click Edit

The 3D object editor will appear. Edit the 3D object as described in the following tasks. When you are finished, click OK. The changed 3D object will be shown in the 3D object chooser window. Click OK to use the 3D object on your plant.

Your changed 3D object will be drawn in the 3D object parameter panel you clicked on. For whichever plant part the parameter specified, all selected plants will show the new 3D object (if you can see it on them).
