Exporting to VRML
PlantStudio can export 3D plant models to two VRML versions: VRML 1.0 and VRML 2.0 (also called VRML97).
Tips on saving and using VRML files from PlantStudio
▪ You must choose which VRML version you want to write to in the 3D export options window for VRML (in the Version panel). Make sure that you have chosen the right VRML version for your 3D program, because some can only read one version or the other.
▪ We found that in some programs that read VRML files (but not all), PlantStudio plants came out huge. If you see this problem, set the Scale by percentage in the 3D export options window for VRML to 10% instead of 100%.
▪ We found that the CosmoPlayer VMRL browser was unhappy with our using a number in front of plant names.
