Renaming plants is fairly simple: you just choose Rename and enter a new name. 

To rename a plant, 

▪        Select the plant.

▪        Choose Rename from the Plant menu.  

▪        In the dialog that appears, type a new name and click OK.

Tips on renaming plants

▪        You can only rename one plant at a time. If more than one plant is selected, only the focused plant8IN1RV>second will be renamed. 

▪        You cannot rename plants in the breeder or time series window.
