In the drop-down box on the main window where you choose a parameter section to look at, you can see some sections at the end of the list that do not correspond to particular parts of the plant. They are marked by a little picture of a gear rather than a picture of a plant part. We call these “transverse parameter sections” because they cut across all the other sections.  The parameters in transverse sections are the same parameters as in the other sections; they are just arranged differently. They make it easy to change a certain type of parameter all over the plant, like colors or 3D objects. 


You can see what section each parameter “belongs” to (in a non-transverse section) after its name. You can change parameters in transverse sections the same way as you change parameters in other sections.
