The parameter panels1YGTBP4 on the Parameters tab of the main window are organized by parameter section2DM7_UT. On the Parameters tab of the main window, choose a section from the drop-down sections list to see the parameters in that section. There are several types of parameter panels, which are listed below, to change parameters of various types.

All parameter panels have these features in common:

The value in any parameter panel is the value for the focused plant8IN1RV>second. If you change the value, you are changing that parameters value in all selected plants. If no plant is selected, all the parameter panels will be grayed out.

To open or close any parameter panel, click the arrow to the left of the parameter name. If the parameter panel is a header panel, which labels the following group of parameters, you will open or close the whole group.

You can navigate among the parameter panels using the Tab and Shift-Tab keys as well as the mouse. Each item on a parameter panel that can be changed can be tabbed to.

You can right-click on any parameter panel to access a popup menu. Choose Go to Help for This Type of Parameter Panel from the popup menu to jump into the help system at the right place to get help on using that type of parameter panel. You can also use the popup menu (right-click) to expand or collapse parameter panels.

Choose Copy Parameter Name from the popup menu to place the name of the section and parameter on the clipboard. This is useful when you are talking about parameters in email and want to refer to one without having to type it by hand.

Using the right-click popup menu on any parameter panel, you can expand or collapse parameter panels or whole sections.

The hint for each parameter panel describes the parameter in the panel. (See Turning button and parameter hints on and offTurning_button_and_parameter_hints_on_and_off>second for how to change whether these appear, and see Changing hint timingChanging_hint_timing>second for changing how long they stay around.)
